Frequently Asked Questions

Can I visit?

For the safety and peace of the animals in our care, Gratitude Gate is not open for public tours. Our plan for the future does include visitor days or volunteer days but at this time we are still in our early stages of figuring it all out! We truly hope you understand our “animals come first” policy as we work hard to ensure all of their needs are met before our own.

What types of animals do you take in?

We have a beautiful location that provides an incredible amount of room and options for the animals we take in. Mostly at this time we provide homes for unwanted or neglected farm animals. At this time we are taking in animals on a case by case basis. Our sanctuary is still building its resources to makes sure that any additional animal we take on will have a lifetime of care waiting for them. Each life saved is a precious gift, we believe in quality of an individual's life not the quantity that resides here.

How can I help?

There are many way you can help no matter where you are in the world. You can visit our Donate menu that will give you a list of items in need, monthly donations or sponsoring an animal. If you can't visit us here at Gratitude Gate, look into your local animal welfare centers for locations you can volunteer near you.

Do we adopt out our animals?

Not at this time. Our animals are given sanctuary at Gratitude Gate for the rest of their lives.
